Houzy supports communication between craftsmen and their customers (B2B) and is the largest platform for homeowners (B2C) in Switzerland. In my role as Junior UX/UI Designer at Houzy, the task was to improve the the company's homepage. The goal was to position Houzy as a 360° platform and make it immediately clear to visitors that we cover the topics of buying, living and selling.

In order to achieve this, I conducted comprehensive user research, employing UX/UI methodologies to understand the needs and expectations of homeowners. Through iterative design processes, I implemented intuitive navigation, visually engaging elements, and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring a seamless experience for our diverse user base. The incorporation of user feedback and A/B Testing played a pivotal role in refining the homepage, aligning it with the preferences of our target audience. As a result, the enhanced homepage now effectively communicates Houzy's comprehensive 360° approach. By embracing user-centric design principles, we've not only improved the overall user experience but also strengthened Houzy's position as a leading platform in the Swiss home services industry.
In this project, as a UX/UI Designer, I gained valuable insights into the effectiveness of user-centric design approaches and the significance of continuous improvement through iterative design.
Furthermore, I was able to solidify my practical knowledge of responsive design and enhance my skills through hands-on implementation of the frontend independently.
