6 ━ Heliantux
This project was part of the Physical Computing & Data Literacy and Visualisation course and was supported by Energiewerke Zürich (EWZ). The goal was to create a series of light installations for Zauberwald festival 2018 in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. We were able to exhibit the entire installation at PUNKT for a second time. We have been inspired by a sunflower/solar tracker because they are known to use the sun's energy optimally by tracking their energy reference area to the sun's position during the course of the day. We tried to give our object a funny and lovely character, in which it quickly follows the light.
