Addlane is a cloud-based collaboration platform that enables user to stay connected with all their teams and partners by organizing visual assets and chat at one place. In my role as a UX/UI Designer, I embarked on a transformative project tasked with elevating an existing platform's user experience and design aesthetics. The crux of the assignment was to reimagine and refine the user interface, focusing primarily on designing account management. To achieve this, I employed a holistic approach that encompassed several key considerations and methodologies:
— Desk Research / collection of inspirations and common practices
— Restructured the information architecture to ensure a logical and intuitive flow within the account management section
— Wireframing and Prototyping
— Quick Usability Testing to validate the design decisions

Through this project, I learned important lessons that highlighted my growth areas as a UX/UI Designer. At that time, my experience in responsive design was limited, and I felt unsure. This motivated me to actively seek practical skills to complement my theoretical knowledge. Another significant learning was the importance of close collaboration with developers during implementation. I realized the need to be more hands-on in testing and promptly addressing improvements. These experiences underscored the value of ongoing learning, especially in staying updated on industry trends. In essence, this project unveiled areas where I could grow, prompting me to recognize the crucial need for closer collaboration with developers and to deepen my expertise in responsive design.
